The HexTcpQuery ActiveX component enables simple TCP queries, text or binary, on any port.
Communication on the Internet often takes the form of a simple query and response. A
web browser, for instance, works by sending a simple request to a server and receiving a
web page in reply. The HexTcpQuery component makes it easy to perform such common tasks.
Because it allows TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) communication with any server
port you choose, HexTcpQuery provides a simple interface for a wide range of applications,
including web browsers, Whois clients, and Finger clients.
