HexValidEmailTM
Reference Guide

The HexValidEmail ActiveX component detects bad email addresses by performing checks at up to three different levels:

  1. Syntax. Includes a full parser to thoroughly check the syntax of email addresses and break them into their constituent parts.
  2. DNS. Verifies that email address domains exist and can be contacted for email transmission.
  3. SMTP. Contacts mail servers and asks them to verify recipients.

HexValidEmail uses intelligent default settings to allow easy go/no-go email tests. At the same time, it offers behavior options and rich outputs for more sophisticated applications.
